Anti-Bullying and Racism

'The school prepares pupils to be responsible and respectful citizens.  [Pupils] understand the importance of treating everyone fairly and showing tolerance.' Ofsted, November 2024.

At Greenfield, we pride ourselves on our strong ethos of zero tolerance of bullying in any format, be that physical, hate, racism, sexism, homophobia, emotional or cyber bullying.  Unfortunately, we are aware that bullying exists in every aspect of society.

At Greenfield, when instances arise, the speed and effectiveness in stopping any bullying and reassuring the victim(s) is of key importance.

Through our SCARF scheme for teaching the Personal, Social, Health and Economic (PSHE) curriculum, assemblies to promote values of good citizenship and tolerance, and the participation in regular national and international anti-bullying event days we teach about bullying and the importance of treating everyone with respect.

More information about our stance on bullying can be found by clicking here.

Racism in any form will not be tolerated at Greenfield Primary School and will be dealt with swiftly.  Our children are taught to be respectful and tolerant of others.
