Homework:

Your child will be bringing home a reading book every Friday.  Please ensure this book is returned to school by the following Thursday at the latest. It is important that these books are read as often as possible at home to aid children’s progress. The book that your child bring home will already have been shared that week with an adult as part of a group read in school. Please ensure that you read it with your child and ask them questions about the text. Comprehension questions can be found on the back pages of the book. 

Spelling Shed

On the front of your child's reading record book there is a QR code. This code will take you to the spelling shed website where they can access their tasks set for that week.
