  • Tax-Free Childcare - Childcare Choices Tax-Free Childcare is a government scheme to support working parents with childcare costs. If eligible, you set up an online childcare account which you can use to pay your childcare provider directly.

  • Free early education for 2 year olds 15 hours of free childcare or early education is available to families that meet certain eligibility criteria from the term after your child's 2nd birthday.
  • 30 hours free childcare for working parents Many working parents of three and four year olds in Oldham will be eligible for 30 hours of free childcare per week. The extended entitlement is intended to support working parents with the cost of childcare and enable parents, where they wish, to return to work or to work additional hours.
  • Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) Children who are currently claiming the Free Entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds in Oldham, who meet certain eligibility criteria, could be eligible for the Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP). The Early Years Pupil Premium is additional funding available for investment in improving outcomes for children.
