Applying for a place at Greenfield Primary School

Greenfield Primary School is a very popular primary school.  If you are interested in finding out more about the school before applying, please contact the school office to make an appointment for a personal school tour with our Headteacher.

We also take children from outside of our catchment area to support parents in finding the right school.

Applications for places at our school are managed by Oldham Council.  The school does not deal with places directly.  The Local Authority manage our admissions. Applying for a place in-year for all year groups

We have a few places available in different year groups.  If you are interested and wish to move your child from another school during the academic year this is called an in-year transfer.  Please call our office on 0161 770 5525 to find out if we have any places or to make an appointment for a personal school tour with our Headteacher ahead of making an application to Oldham Council.

Appeals

If your child has been refused a school place, you can appeal.  If you have applied as part of the normal round of admissions and have been refused a school place you will be automatically placed on the school's oversubscription (waiting) list.
