Welcome to our English section! Here you’ll find information about what we’re learning in reading, writing, and spelling, as well as tips for supporting literacy at home.

Reading at Home

Regular practice at home makes a big difference! We encourage children to read every day, even for a short time. This could be:

  • Reading independently

  • Reading aloud to a family member

  • Listening to stories being read

Please record reading in your child’s reading log so we can celebrate progress together.

Spelling Shed turns spelling into a game! You can earn points, play against friends, and become a spelling superstar while practising your weekly words.
