Applying for a place at Greenfield Primary School

Greenfield Primary School is a very popular primary school.  If you are interested in finding out more about the school before applying, please contact the school office to make an appointment for a personal school tour with our Headteacher.

We also take children from outside of our catchment area to support parents in finding the right school.

Applications for places at our school are managed by Oldham Council.  The school does not deal with places directly.  The Local Authority manage our admissions. .Applying for a place in-year for all year groups we have a few places available in different year groups.  If you are interested and wish to move your child from another school during the academic year this is called an in-year transfer.  Please call ous part of the normal round of admissions and have been refused a school place you will be automatically placed on the school's oversubscription (waiting) list.

Secondary school applications

If your child is due to start secondary school in September 2027. You need to complete the online application at Apply for a school place | Oldham Council Or scan the QR code below to access the site directly.

. If you don’t live in Oldham, you will need to make your application to the LA where you pay your council tax. The closing date for ‘on time’ applications is 31 October 2026 at 5pm.
