Black History Week - Ruby Bridges

This year in Year 6 we choose to focus our work during Black History Month on Ruby Bridges. 

We were inspired and fascinated by her story and how brave a 6 year child could be. 

We were shocked that this type of prejudice was happening in living memory.

The book, The Story of Ruby Bridges was written by Robert Coles and illustrated by George Ford. It was published by Scholastic Books.
