Here there are plenty of books to read. After each chapter, there are different activities to complete including comprehension questions and grammar activities.
Try The Lost Myth of Mathos, which is linked to our Ancient Greece topic.
Keep reading as much as possible. You can also do some writing linked to your reading. For example, you could write the next chapter, write a letter to the author, write a letter to a character, write a book review, write to your friend and tell them what you think of the book, or write an alternative ending to the story.
Each child has been provided with a school novel for them to read at home. Please take care of these as we will need you to return them to school. For each novel, I have attached a VIPERS question guide. Whilst children read the book, these questions can support their reading and aid comprehension.
